Annual Meeting

 

The 2020 Annual Meeting will be held on July 10th, 2020 2:00 PM in Pirate Hall.   

 Background

The annual membership meeting of this organization shall be held the 2nd Friday in July of each year, or as directed by the Board each and every year except if such day be a legal holiday then and in that event the Board of Directors shall fix the day but it shall not be more than two weeks from the date fixed by these by-laws. The secretary shall cause to be mailed to every member in good standing at his or her address as it appears in the membership roll book of this organization a notice telling the time and place of such annual meeting. (meetings are subject to change).

 Elections

Please keep in mind that "at-large" board of director seats are elected by the Foundation membership.  If you are interested in serving please complete the nominee application located on this website and email to historicbath@yahoo.com.

 We always welcome applications!  We also need volunteers to serve on our committees.  Please let us know if you are interested.  You may review committees on the website "scorecard" tab.

 

 

 

 

The following is the nominating committee's report to the Board of Directors.  Please keep in mind that the applications process is still open and that nominees are always accepted during the annual meeting.

 

The following recommendations were made to the Board of Directors at the March 30th meeting and were accepted by the Directors:

 

Two available "at-large" seat:  Mariann Mcqueen and Betsy Boxer.  They both are holding those seats and were filling unexpired terms.  They are elibigle for two full terms.  See short biographies below.

 

Officers:  Surry Everett, President; Gene Roberts, Vice President; Mariann McQueen, Treasurer; Karen Sayer, Secretary.

 

A request was made of the Historic Bath Commission to accept recommendation of the Foundation Board to re-appoint Gene Roberts this year to the Historic Bath Foundation and to appoint someone to Josie Hookway's vacant seat.
